Exercise 0 - Introduction

Installation - Python 3

Windows

  • Step 1 - Head over to this Python download page and download the installer for Python 3.6.x.

  • Step 3 - You can either choose to set the environment variables (PATH and PATHEXT) upon installation or set it manually once the installer finishes.
  • Step 4 - Open a command prompt and verify that python -V shows the version installed. If you get any errors, bug Aru and ask him to set the env variables for you!

Linux

      $ sudo apt-get update
      $ sudo apt-get install python3.6
